LeadADVISOR is a web-based assistant developed in collaboration with the Marion County Public Health Department to help residents better understand their Lead Risk Assessment reports. It interprets complex environmental data and presents it in a clear, conversational format tailored to non-technical users.

I worked as the AI Lead and Developer on the project, with a focus on backend infrastructure, AI integration, and data collation. My responsibilities included:

• Developing the backend to handle report uploads and parse relevant test data
• Aggregating and formatting data from multiple report types and sources to prepare it for AI interpretation
• Integrating OpenAI’s GPT API to generate context-aware, plain-language responses
• Coordinating with public health staff to ensure the assistant’s output aligned with official guidance and recommendations

LeadADVISOR makes lead risk information more accessible and usable — helping residents understand their results, learn about safety steps, and get connected to the right resources.
